Mark Munro

Mark has worked for the firm for his entire career and was admitted as a Solicitor in 1988. Mark initially undertook general practice but has increasingly specialised over the years.

Mark's main areas of practice now relates to family work, conveyancing, Wills and Probate.

Mark is an advanced member of the Family Law Panel and a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers.

Outside interests include cycling, walking and keeping fit. Mark spends the remainder of his time watching rugby union, socialising with his family and working as a Primary School Governor.

Mary Morgan

Mary is based in our Whitchurch office.

She Qualified in 1980 and has more than 15 years experience as a specialist in Wills. Trusts, Probate and estate administration matters with related tax planning and property work particularly agricultural.

She is a full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and full member of  Solicitors for the Elderly (SFE).

After managing four other male partners, husband and three teenage children with related housekeeping duties this does not leave much time for anything else but  she is a registered PADI open water diver and is looking to develop this interest further.

David Butler

David Butler was brought up in Wrexham and trained there after taking a  LLB at Aberystwyth University. He joined Henry Lees in 1979 as a newly admitted Solicitor and has been there ever since.

David has practiced across most areas of non-contentious work and matrimonial but has developed particular expertise in Commercial  Conveyancing transactions.

Outside interests include canoeing with Shrewsbury Canoe Club and Hill walking with his family.

David Ryder

David is the secretary of  Whitchurch Rotary Club and Treasurer and Captain for a local cricket team.

He qualified as a Solicitor in 1979 and having spent his formative legal years with a specialist conveyancing practice (that represented a private group of 120 property companies) became a partner in an established practice in Birmingham before moving to Shropshire in 1991. He was originally from the London area and in the late 1980's and 1990 he was an active advocate in the Magistrates Courts within Warwickshire, West Midlands, Northampton and Nottinghamshire dealing with all aspects of Criminal, Family and Licensing Law having handled cases across the whole practice spectrum.

David has specialised in Family Law for the last twenty or so years resulting in several cases reaching the Court of Appeal and he is a member of the Law Society Family Law Panel. David  is married to an actress wife and has one son who also follows the fortunes of West Ham United with interest.
